Project Overview: Stadium Facilities Project

The existing SRVHS Stadium Facility has been home to hundreds of football, soccer, and lacrosse games and track meets, as well as host to many middle and high school graduation ceremonies, school functions and general use from a variety of other youth sports organizations.  Although once an exciting modern facility, it now suffers from aging bleachers, poor illumination, an antiquated scoreboard, a worn-out and damaged turf field, and the lack of sanitary, flushable restrooms.   

This list of improvements to the stadium facilities includes, but is not limited to, the following: 

Stadium Facilities:

• Construction of a full function restroom facility to meet the spectator needs for stadium and other athletic field events.
• Comprehensive remodeling of existing Snack Shack structure to provide for appropriate food serving needs for stadium events.
• Replacement of broken down and unsafe bleachers on the main athletic stadium for both the home and visitor sides in favor of new bleacher systems, skybox and consolidated athletic equipment storage facilities.
• Upgrades for the stadium lights to provide adequate illumination for nighttime athletic contests and school activities.
• Replacement of the antiquated scoreboard with a new integrated scoreboard and communication media screen.
• Replacement of the existing worn out and damaged turf field with new field turf installed by a certified organization that can periodically re-condition the product for full useable life.

**Based on the approval of future bond and parcel tax measures which may include funds earmarked for certain facility improvements on the SRVHS campus, some of the projects listed may not require the full financial underwriting by the Foundation but may include some level of contribution to upgrade certain basic facility standards.

The first project of the SRVHS Wolf Foundation will be the addition of a restroom facility with sanitary, flushable toilets.  Although in existence for 99 years, the campus has never had permanent outside restrooms located near the athletic facilities.  We hope to celebrate out 100-year anniversary with the addition of a new facility.  Please visit this page to check on our progress and consider donating now to the SRVHS restroom facilities project.
