2011 – Celebrating 100 Years of San Ramon Valley High School Spirit
A silent auction, live auction, dancing and memorabilia were all part of a gala on Saturday, March 19, 2011, celebrating San Ramon Valley High School’s centennial.
With over 550 attendees, the first large-scale fundraising effort raised $144,000.00 for San Ramon Valley High School.
The gala took place at the Blackhawk Museum. With both silent and live auctions, music, pictures, and other memorabilia, it was a festive atmosphere paying tribute to the “home of champions.”
The Wolf Foundation designed the auction to return a portion of the proceeds directly back to various athletic and co-curricular organizations that helped to secure donations. For each item, 45 percent of the final auction bid was earmarked for a school program of the buyer’s choice, 45 percent was contributed to the group that secured the donation, and 10 percent was contributed to the Wolf Foundation’s General Fund.
